Center – Ratio: Group Size
Infant/Toddler – 3:9 or better
Toddler – 3:12 or better
Preschool – 1:8 ratio and group size of no more than 20
This program’s environment has been assessed by an independent observer using the Environmental Rating Scale, and it rates high on providing:
- A safe, clean, and enriching environment
- Good health practices
- A variety of activities, materials and play areas right for a child’s age
The director of this program has an Associate’s Degree with 24 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development classes, 6 units of preschool management/administration and 2 units of supervision, or a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit, and 21 hours of professional development every year.
