Infant/Toddler Group Care Course (CDEV 85) (English)

This course focuses on the Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) philosophy of relationship-based care and examines program policies and practices that support the learning and development of very young children in group care.
Enrollment in this course is limited to early childhood educators who are currently caring for infants and toddlers ages birth to 36 months. Priority is given to providers who are participating in San Francisco’s Quality Rating and Improvement System.
Participants who successfully complete the course will be eligible for three academic units, offered through City College of San Francisco, Child Development and Family Studies (CDEV 85).

Location: City College of San Francisco – Ocean Campus (Multi-Use Building), 50 Phelan Ave., SF, CA 94112
- Register for the course via Eventbrite to a reserve a spot in the class.
- Enroll as a student in City College of San Francisco (CCSF). To enroll, you will need to apply online (link to instructions on how to apply for admissions). You MUST be enrolled as a student in CCSF before you can officially be added to the class. We encourage you to enroll in CCSF as soon as possible. For assistance enrolling, please contact the Child Development & Family Studies Department at City College of San Francisco at 415-452-5605. Bi-lingual staff are available for help in Cantonese and Spanish. Additionally, in-person registration help is available at the Chinatown/Northbeach Campus and at the Mission Campus in Admissions and at the Main Campus in the CDEV Dept. at MUB 249.
- Bring your student ID number on the first day of class. Once accepted into CCSF you will be issued a student ID number which will allow you to be added to the class during the first meeting.
