ECE Equity Institute: Teaching For Change

Equity is so much more than celebrating diversity. We invite you to join Intisar Shareef, Janet Gonzalez-Mena and colleagues who were previous Institute participants on an exciting journey of examination and exploration to find the answers to the follow questions about:
• How bias and prejudice affect teaching, learning and ECE
• Becoming a culturally responsive teacher of young
children of diverse backgrounds
• Incorporating effective teaching practices that help to
close the achievement and opportunity gap
The four core goals of the Anti-Bias curriculum is integrated into
the institute training content.
