BLOCK PLAY BONANZA!

January 26 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Looking for ways to enhance children’s experiences in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math?

Join us in exploring the power and beauty of Block Play. This two part workshop is designed to invite you to:

  • Learn about the history of blocks
  • Study block play stories
  • Reflect on your own classroom and find ways to strengthen a “block play culture”
  • Familiarize yourself with schema theory and learn about how to use this knowledge to see children’s competence
  • Please plan to attend BOTH workshops

Facilitators:

Deb Curtis-ECE Trainer, Toddler teacher, author and “Pause & Marvel Lady”

Eliana Elias-ECE Trainer, Quality Connections Coach, and passionate play advocate

INFORMATION

Dates: Saturday, January 26th & Saturday, February 9th – Please plan on attending both days

Time: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (includes light snacks)
